Hana is a DONA-trained doula inspired by her father’s stories about delivering babies in a freestanding birth center. She teaches the Fertility Awareness Method to friends and colleagues, counsels women on natural yeast infection remedies, and has helped many women achieve their fitness goals.
As a former athlete who has had a shoulder surgery, she understands how Western medicine saves lives while still believing in the natural power of the human body. She is excited about helping women realize their inner strength by supporting them with love, empathy and expertise.
A Los Angeles native, Hana holds a BA in Italian Studies and an MA in Arabic Studies from McGill University in Montreal. Hana speaks Italian, French and Hebrew. Her Arabic is still a work in progress.
Fees for service (includes a trained backup doula): $600
Hana can attend births in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.
