Leah is an experienced and qualified doula who is trained under Celeste Rachell from DONA International at New York City's Swedish Institute. Leah believes that when laboring during child birth a woman reconnects with her inner voice and re-establishes her power through the natural process of labor. Love and support are the key components to expressing that power. With the right help and experience, Leah will provide a true and meaningful birthing experience for you and your partner; one that will embody rhythm, spirituality, and tradition. In addition to her doula qualifications, Leah is a Hunter College graduate with a BA in Creative Writing and Philosophy. She plans to go to Graduate School for her MFA and continue her Post Partum Doula Certification through DONA International. Leah resides in Manhattan, with her husband and their four children.
Leah is available in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx for Labor Doula and Post Partum Doula work.
Her fee for Labor Doula services is $750.
Her fee for Postpartum Doula services is $30/hour.
